Terrie Rogers was recently named the 2024 Outstanding Staff Person of the Year at West Virginia University Potomac State College. WVU PSC Interim President Paul Kreider presented the award.

Those who know Terrie Rogers, are aware they will always be greeted with a smile and a willingness to help. Rogers was recently named the 2024 Outstanding Staff Person of the Year at West Virginia University Potomac State College.

She began her career at the College in 2006 and currently serves as manager of the Service & Information Office in the Department of Operations and Finance.

One colleague stated, “Terrie must often juggle multiple tasks at the same time, for example, the mail or package delivery person is waiting, she has students or visitors at the window, and the phone is ringing; yet she manages all tasks with grace and professionalism.”

Other comments state that she keeps abreast of PSC and community activities to answer questions, has a vast historical knowledge of the College and the community, and is always clear with directions when instructing visitors on where to go to find a particular building or office.

Rogers is often the first point-of-contact for students, parents, and other visitors to the College.

“It’s apparent Terrie cares deeply about students, staff, faculty, the College, and visitors to campus. She performs her duties efficiently, is pleasant to work with, and has a great attitude,” another coworker said.
